The Land Rover Discovery Sport was first launched in 2015 to sit between the larger Discovery and smaller Evoque crossover SUV.    

Think of it as a seven-seater SUV that offers the great engine options and occasional off-road capabilities of larger cars but with the luxury of a Range Rover inside. It's essentially the sweet spot between the two, and it’s perfect for a stylish but functional car.   

It's seen many facelifts over the years, all being minor but very important. Some of the biggest changes have included an interior overhaul to fit with the rest of the model range, and the addition of mild hybrid and plug-in hybrid engines.

What features does the Land Rover Discovery Sport have?

Inside, the Discovery Sport showcases high levels of luxury and rugged functionality. All the controls are easy to use, even in thick gloves, but there’s still an overwhelming feeling of luxury and quality that you don’t get in many other family SUVs. 

Over the years, many Land Rover Discovery Sports for sale have seen many different iterations with lots of changes happening inside, but even older models still have a decent display and technology.   

More recent models come as standard with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system along with the option to have a high-quality 12.3-inch driver’s display that replaces the car’s traditional dials.   

This new touchscreen comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, which is even integrated into the vehicle’s driver’s display so you can view your maps and music right in front of you.   

The higher-spec R-Dynamic HSE trim level comes with added Matrix LED headlights, keyless entry, and a premium sound system.   

As with any Land Rover product, the Discovery Sport comes fitted with some excellent optional technology options including the brand’s Clear Sight Ground View technology, which allows you to see exactly where your vehicle is thanks to a plethora of cameras dotted around the car.
