About returning your car – faff-free

We’re pretty sure you’ll love your new car, but if you have a change of heart, no worries. Simply do so within 14 days and you’ll get your money back – guaranteed.

About our 14-day money back guarantee

Below is a summary of our guarantee, but please read section 12 of our T&Cs for more details. Just so you know, all the information about returns on this page only applies to cars bought online from us (not from our approved dealers).

You can return the car to us within 14 days from the day after the delivery date without giving us any reason. Please note, you mustn’t use the car after telling us you’re cancelling the agreement and you must keep it in good condition from the day it was delivered.

Conditions to using the guarantee

If you paid for the car in full, please make a note of the following:

  • If you paid by Visa, Mastercard debit or credit card, we’ll repay the purchase price back on to that card

  • You mustn’t drive the car more than 250 miles from when it was delivered

  • The car needs to be in the same tip-top condition as when it was delivered

  • You’ll need to return the car’s V5 log book to us by recorded delivery (out of your own pocket, sorry)

If you paid for the car using finance, please make a note of the following:

  • You mustn’t drive the car more than 250 miles from when it was delivered

  • You mustn’t have made any alterations or modifications to the car whatsoever

  • The car needs to be in the same tip-top condition as when it was delivered (except for fair wear and tear)

  • The car mustn’t have any charges or claims from any third party against it (including a finance provider)

  • You’ll need to return the car’s V5 log book to us by recorded delivery (out of your own pocket, sorry)

Last but not least, follow these 3 simple steps

  1. 1. Contact our Customer Experience team – you can either:

    • Call 03330 154101

    • Email hello@cinch.co.uk (you can use this cancellation form if you like). We’ll acknowledge receipt by email and call you within 3 days to arrange the car’s collection. To meet the guarantee deadline, you need to tell us you’re exercising the right to cancel by 8pm on the day the guarantee period ends

  2. 2. We’ll arrange to pick up your car at a 2-hour slot of your choosing (after 72 hours of your request)

  3. 3. Er… that’s it! Simple as.
