Used BMW cars for sale

While many view the German big three (Audi, Mercedes and BMW) as three versions of the same recipe, in truth, they each come with their own, unique flavour. While each company offers something to excite drivers, BMW has long established itself as the sportiest brand of the pile, thanks to its performance-oriented M division. But this is a company aimed at far more than just the enthusiasts, with practical models like the 2 Series Active Tourer and luxury SUVs like the X7 here to emphasise the reach of this marque. Sure, the hot M3, M4 and M5 models are often the ones that grab most attention. But on the road, the BMWs you'll likely come across most wear 1 Series, 3 Series and 5 Series badges. All are fine cars in their own right - and fitting successors to the long line of predecessors that came before them.

Find the BMW for you

1 Series

BMW's answer to the Volkswagen Golf and Mercedes A-Class has gone through a major transformation in recent years, switching from being a swept-back, rear-wheel drive hatch to something that prioritises practicality above all else. In truth, both older and newer 1 Series bring something great to the table; and both come with BMW quality and handling. If you can stretch to an M-badged model like the M135i, you'll also find there's a lot of fun to be had.

3 Series

Arguably the bread and butter model of BMW's range, the 3 Series was once the car that topped BMW's sales charts by a country mile. Now, with SUV demand so high, it sits among its siblings rather than above them. But it remains an absolutely fantastic offering to the saloon car world. Great looks, handling and well equipped, the 3 Series is a C-Class and rival worthy of your attention whether you're into cars or not.

X5

Sitting in the middle of BMW's SUV range, the X5 is a full-sized 4x4 that's as capable on the road as it is off it. Available with a variety of engines and finishes, the X5 can be a family car, rugged holiday wagon or - in M-tuned variants - a sports SUV to blow your socks off. Best of all, with sales being so strong, there are plenty to choose from.

And the rest

BMW's range is one of the most desirable out there, and deservedly so. Whether you're a diehard fan or someone simply looking for an engaging next car, our selection of BMWs is not short of choice. And best of all, with such a large supply, the price range is super wide. And don't forget, BMW is the parent company of Mini, so should you want something smaller, that company's range also comes with the BMW seal of approval. Happy days.
