History of Jaguar

Jaguar Cars, as we know it today, was born in 1945 and made sports cars for a long time but changed its strategy when it was taken over – first by Ford in 2008 and then TATA Motors – to help save it from difficult times. 

Up until recently, Jaguar made a wide range of cars, but has now decided to take a break and gear up for an all-electric future from 2026, as shown by its Type 00 concept car unveiled on 2 December 2024.

Used Jaguar cars are packed with features, both standard and optional. Some of the most common include heated leather seats, a panoramic sunroof, a premium sound system, sat-nav, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.  

They’re also some of the safest on the road – most Jaguar models have been awarded a five-star safety rating by Euro NCAP.  

This is due in part to the wide range of safety features that come standard on all models, including automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning and adaptive cruise control.
