About the Jaguar I-PACE

The Jaguar I-PACE is a premium electric vehicle (EV) that offers incredible range, a comfortable and luxurious interior, and high levels of practicality.   

When Jaguar decided it was going to make its first family EV, it knew that the I-PACE had to be absolutely perfect, and that's precisely why the development mule was driven more than 1.5 million miles to ensure it was spot on.  

After all, it's competing with the likes of the Audi e-tron, BMW iX, Mercedes EQC, and Tesla Model S, but gets the edge of classic Jaguar styling and quality build.  

Every I-PACE model is powered by the same 90kWh battery, which comes with an eight-year/100,000-mile warranty, meaning you shouldn’t need to stress about any deterioration at all.  

There’s also a choice of a few different trims, including the flashy I-PACE HSE range-topper.  

What features does the Jaguar I-PACE have?

A used Jaguar I-PACE will offer you one of the most luxurious interior cabins in the game – it’s filled with tech and complements the stylish exterior.  

Range-topping HSE I-PACE models offer some excellent features such as endless amounts of leather and polished wood.  

Even the entry-level model offers some excellent equipment as standard, including Jaguar’s new Pivi Pro infotainment system that's controlled by the large 10-inch touchscreen that sits flush in the centre of the dashboard.  

This system offers smartphone integration so you can connect your phone to the car’s display via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Some models also feature some nifty features such as a 3D surround camera system and a digital rearview mirror.  

The I-PACE's boot measures in at 505 litres, which is huge for this size of car, and this grows to an astonishing 1,163 litres when the rear seats are folded flat.

What's the Jaguar I-PACE like to drive?

The Jaguar I-PACE keeps it simple and doesn’t offer an extensive list of engines to choose from, but the models on offer are good enough that you won't feel like anything is missing.  

All models are powered by the same 90kWh battery that gives you a claimed range of 298 miles of range, which is more than enough for most people.  

When it comes to charging, there are plenty of options available. If you charge it from a 7kWh home charger, you can expect a full battery in around 12 hours. A 100kWh supercharger, however, will do the job in 40 minutes.  

Alternatively, if you can’t find a fast charger then a standard 50kWh one will give you a full charge in about an hour and a half.  

Allowing the car to actually drive on the road are two electric motors that drive all four wheels and produce a combined horsepower of 394hp – really impressive for a family car.
