What types of used Peugeot Partner Tepee cars are there?

The Peugeot Partner Tepee has been on our roads since 2008 and ran until 2018 when it was replaced by the Peugeot Rifter. 

It can be had with either Active or Outdoor trim, with the newer Rifter coming with Active, Allure and GT Line trim levels. 

What features does the Peugeot Partner Tepee have?

The Partner Tepee is far from being a luxury van like the Mercedes V-Class, but it’s still not to be ignored. 

It offers tech such as Bluetooth connectivity, a USB port, aux socket and MirrorLink software with access to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on newer models, linked to a touchscreen infotainment system. 

But this isn’t really what the Peugeot is about – instead, its focus is more on practicality and interior space.  

In 2009, Peugeot introduced a seven-seat Partner, and it changed everything because it meant you now had two extra seats at your disposal.  

In addition to this, you also get a large 640-litre boot with all the seats in place, but remove them and you benefit from a massive 2,800 litres. 

It’s well-thought-out for families too, with large sliding rear doors making it easy for kids to climb in and out.  

Plus, it even has aircraft-style folding tables at the rear and optional overhead storage. It’s one of the most practical cars you can buy for the money. 

Is the Peugeot Partner Tepee reliable? 

A used Peugeot Partner Tepee is reliable, sharing its platform with the Citroen Berlingo and borrowing bits from the Peugeot 308 hatchback. This means it should be a reliable MPV to live with.

Following its most recent Euro NCAP crash test, the Peugeot Partner scored four out of five stars, thanks to safety features such as airbags, rear ISOFIX child seat points, seatbelt reminders and electronic stability control (ESC).

How much does the Peugeot Partner Tepee cost to run?

The Partner Tepee can be had with a range of petrol and diesel engines, as well as the newer top-spec electric e-Partner model. 

Peugeot’s two petrol engines are based on the same 1.6-litre unit, producing either 89hp or 108hp, whereas the diesel engines produce either 74hp, 89hp or 108hp. 

As for fuel economy, the Partner Tepee gets between 34mpg and 68mpg, with the latter coming from the fuel-efficient diesel engine.  

The e-Partner gets a maximum range of up to 171 miles and a choice of batteries with varying power options. This is, of course, the best option for city dwellers because it produces zero tailpipe emissions and is silent. 

One of the largest costs associated with vehicle ownership is insurance, but thankfully the Partner sits between insurance groups 2 and 18, so it’s relatively affordable to insure. 

Who is the Peugeot Partner Tepee suitable for? 

A used Peugeot Partner Tepee is ideal for those leading an active lifestyle. Whether it’s camping trips away or weekend road trips with the whole family – there’s very little this MPV can’t do. 

It’s also good for the average family who could do with the added seats and boot space, and who don’t wish to spend a fortune on some of the family SUVs on the market.
