What is the BMW X1 xLine?

The BMW X1 xLine is a well-equipped version of the brand's smallest SUV that gets a striking look without the added performance of the M models.

It offers a smoother ride than the sportier trims too, benefitting from softer suspension and a different gearbox with more relaxed – but still quick – gear shifts.

What are the BMW X1 xLine specs?

The BMW X1 xLine – being mostly a cosmetic trim – can be had with either a petrol or diesel engine mated to either an automatic or manual gearbox.

The fuel economy for this small SUV is impressive too, offering between up to 47.9mpg for the petrol and 58.9mpg for the larger diesel engine.

When it comes to driving, the X1 xLine is smooth and responsive, like all BMWs. It feels more like a hatchback than an SUV around corners, which is no bad thing, increasing the driving pleasure.
