The Q5 launched in 2008 as a rival to the BMW X3 and Land Rover Freelander, and now forms part of a growing class of family SUVs.

Its cabin is very roomy, with plenty of space for five – even with adults in the back – and the boot is nice and big at 550-610 litres.
