The 208 is also a safe car, as proved by its most recent 2019 Euro NCAP crash test score of four out of five.

How much does the Peugeot 208 cost to run?

Out on the road, the 208 is a joy to drive. Its small size means it’s easy to manoeuvre, and the driver aids are very welcome.     

You’ll get a choice of a couple of engines, including the fully electric e-208, which has a claimed range of up to 248 miles on a full charge.     

There are also petrol and diesel models on offer, both providing impressive fuel economy.  

Depending on the diesel model, statistics claim you’ll get between 60.8 and 73.6mpg. This is great if you plan on doing longer journeys.    

It’s also sleek and modern in appearance, and it has a sporty look that turns heads when you’re out on the road.
