What types of DS SUVs are there?
DS has been through several phases since it first launched with the DS 3 – a rebadged version of the popular and stylish Citroën DS3 hatchback.
The DS 3 later became a crossover model, and was known as the DS 3 Crossback. But DS later dropped the ‘Crossback’ branding, and launched a new, SUV form, reverting back to the original name: the DS.

DS has been selling two key SUVs for a number of years, so you’ll have no trouble finding the sporty-looking DS 3 (Crossback) or the larger DS 7 (Crossback), which comes with high levels of comfort and refinement.
Later on, a compact DS 4 hatchback arrived, but it sits high and resembles a baby crossover, so you could consider it a small SUV.

What are DS SUVs like to drive?
DS is the luxury spinoff for Citroën, a French company that’s renowned globally for producing extremely comfortable cars. And while DS might have taken a sporty edge, it retains that high comfort reputation.
The seats, for example, come in a few different styles with plenty of padding, and the leather watch strap-style upholstery looks and feels very smart.
