What is the Audi Q3 Black Edition?
Black Edition is a top-tier trim level offered by Audi across most of its models, and it adds even more style to this popular crossover.
There should be a used Audi Q3 Black Edition to suit every budget, because this trim level was introduced as part of an update to the first-generation model in 2016.
It takes styling cues from the seriously fast RS Q3 but comes with Audi’s range of efficient petrol, diesel, and plug-in hybrid engines.
What are the Audi Q3 Black Edition specs?
As well as the 150hp 1.5-litre petrol (35 TFSI) and 150hp 2.0-litre diesel (35 TDI) engines that you get in the rest of the Q3 range, you can find a Q3 Black Edition for sale with even more powerful engines.
There’s also a 200hp 2.0-litre diesel (40 TDI) and a pair of 2.0-litre petrols with either 190hp (40 TFSI) or 245hp (45 TFSI). It’s the same petrol engine as you’d find in a Volkswagen Golf GTI.
The final option is a 1.4-litre plug-in hybrid badged 45 TFSI e, which has 245hp and an electric-only range of around 35 miles.
Used Audi Q3 Black Edition features and equipment
The primary difference between the used Q3 Black Edition and lower-spec models is design – newer models come with large 20-inch alloys, a black styling pack and sporty interior touches.
In terms of kit, a Q3 Black Edition for sale comes with equipment like LED headlights, faux-leather interior trim, dual-zone climate control, parking sensors and cruise control.
Along with a large digital instrument cluster, there’s also a large touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Where the Q3 Black Edition sits in the Audi range
Black Edition is the highest trim level available on the Q3, but previous top-spec Vorsprung models were also available.
Mid-spec S line is an extremely popular model because it comes with great levels of kit and an appealing design.
Sport models are also available, but entry-level SE and Technik models are no longer available to buy new.
