What features does the OMODA 9 have?

Being a top-spec-only model, the OMODA 9 has everything. You’ve got a dual-screen setup inside with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, wireless phone charging with a cooling vent to prevent your phone from overheating, and ambient lighting.

In fact, OMODA classifies the twin displays as one big panel, measuring 24.6 inches.

Comfort comes in the form of heated and ventilated seats, a heated steering wheel and stacks of rear legroom and boot space.

As for driver aids, the 540-degree camera adds a view under the car to the existing 360-degree setup so you can avoid obstacles on the road at slow speeds.

How much does the OMODA 9 cost to run?

It might be a quick SUV, with 449hp and a 0-62mph time of 4.9 seconds, but the 1.5-litre plug-in hybrid setup is actually very effective at managing power efficiently.

So much so that you can do over 700 combined miles from the system before the petrol tank and battery run out. Anyway, the 34.5kWh battery is plenty big enough for most commutes, totalling 93 miles of electric range, so you might never need to use the combustion anyway.

With a flat battery, expect around 44mpg which is excellent in this type of vehicle.

Who is the OMODA 9 suitable for?

The OMODA 9 is a great pick for buyers who want a premium-feeling SUV without the premium price tag. It’s got a tech-heavy interior with big screens and driver aids, and a powerful engine that’s well-suited to a busy life.
