The Kodiaq has been available since 2017, and has since inspired a range of other SUVs starting with the letter ‘K’. A second generation was announced in late 2023.

What features does the Skoda Kodiaq have?

Inside, the Skoda Kodiaq carries over its smart and stylish exterior looks.   

Being a newer Skoda model, high-end Kodiaq models benefit from a large touchscreen, a digital instrument cluster, heated and electronically adjustable seats, and even a Wi-Fi hotspot so everyone can enjoy their devices on longer journeys.   

Entry-level Kodiaq models still get a range of features – the Kodiaq SE includes cruise control, parking sensors, and anti-theft protection. Newer models come with LED headlights as standard, even entry-level SE Drive versions. 

Skoda’s SmartLink+ system also works a treat and is standard across the range, allowing Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.    

Whether yours is a five- or seven-seater, the boot is definitely big enough. Seven-seater models have a slightly smaller boot to accommodate the rearmost seats, but the difference is minimal and barely noticeable in the real world.

Is the Skoda Kodiaq reliable?

Every Skoda Kodiaq for sale is built on the same platform that forms the foundation of other Volkswagen Group models, like the Volkswagen Tiguan and SEAT Tarraco, meaning the Kodiaq offers incredible levels of reliability.

How much does the Skoda Kodiaq cost to run?

A used Skoda Kodiaq benefits from a range of incredibly efficient engines, but the diesels are the most efficient – they can achieve more than 50mpg. 

The 4x4 models are slightly less efficient, but if you’re coming from an older 4x4, you’ll still be pleasantly surprised.
