What features does the MG4 have?

Standout features of the MG4 include its 10.25-inch central screen that runs MG’s easy-to-use infotainment system. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity is also included.

The MG4 offers strong build quality and a solid motor setup.  

Since it's electric, it should be more robust than petrol or diesel-powered cars because there are fewer moving parts to go wrong. 

It’s also a safe car, scoring a full five stars following its recent Euro NCAP safety tests in 2022. 

How much does the MG4 cost to run?

The main running cost for electric cars is charging. And how much this will set you back depends on where you charge your MG4. 

If you use a home wall box charger, you can expect to pay anywhere from 8p-10p per kWh. Use a public fast charger and this can be north of 40p/kWh, but it will be a lot quicker.  

It’s worth checking at your chosen charge point to get a better idea as prices are constantly changing. 

Other costs such as maintenance shouldn’t be all that high, depending on how you use the car.

Insurance will be higher due to the car being so powerful, but the exact figure will vary depending on the driver’s history.

In its top-spec, the MG4 can achieve up to 239 miles at motorway speeds. Opt for the base spec and this drops to 160 miles. 

What is the MG4’s top speed?

The MG4’s top speed is limited to 99mph. Move up to the XPower and this increases to 124mph. 

Does the MG4 have one-pedal driving?

Yes. If you set the regenerative braking to its maximum setting, it’s essentially one-pedal driving, but it’s not as aggressive as in some other cars.
