What types of used Kia XCeed cars are there?

The Kia XCeed is only available as a compact SUV. As the name suggests, it is loosely based on the Kia Ceed, and also shares parts with the Kia ProCeed.

Kia’s trim levels make a lot of sense – there are a few numerically ordered options, plus a couple of sportier-looking variants.

What features does the Kia XCeed have?

Every used Kia XCeed for sale comes with alloy wheels, LED headlights, a reversing camera, keyless entry, air-conditioning and cruise control.

Cheaper models have a sizeable eight-inch touchscreen, but higher-spec models have a bigger 10.25-inch display. All have Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support.

Is the Kia XCeed reliable?

It might not be Kia’s most popular model, but because it’s built using many of the Ceed’s parts, any used Kia XCeed will benefit from tried and tested mechanics.

Kia also backs its cars, including a seven-year/100,000-mile warranty with any used XCeed.

How much does the Kia XCeed cost to run?

Over the years, the Kia XCeed has been available with a 1.0-litre and a 1.4-litre petrol engine (which was later replaced by the 1.5-litre unit). Expect around 40-50mpg from these, depending on your driving style.

Used Kia XCeed buyers should also consider the 1.6-litre plug-in hybrid option, which is the same unit used in the Ioniq. This should be able to exceed 60mpg in most circumstances.

Who is the Kia XCeed suitable for?

If you’re after something a bit taller and more rugged, whether you’re the adventurous type or are just fed up with low-slung seats, then a Kia XCeed for sale is well worth considering for its understated yet high-quality finish.
