History of Dacia

Dacia has been around since 1966 but only really started to gain traction outside of Romania when Renault bought the company in 1999, and introduced models such as the Sandero and later the Duster, Logan and Jogger. 

Being a global megastar, Dacia is now the most profitable company in Romania, selling more than 500,000 cars in 2021 alone. 

With help from Renault, it’s beginning its transition to electric cars.
