What is the Audi Q3 S line?

Sporty S and RS versions of Audi’s cars have long been firm favourites of driving enthusiasts, but they can be expensive to run.

A used Audi Q3 S line has all of the styling appeal of these fast variants but with the affordability of far more economical engine options.

S line has been a trim level for several years and is an extremely popular choice, so there should be no shortage of used Q3 S line cars for sale.

What are the Audi Q3 S line specs?

The most popular option for a used Q3 S line is the 150hp 1.5-litre petrol, badged 35 TFSI, but the 150hp 2.0-litre diesel, badged 35 TDI, is equally punchy and can be more efficient on a long trip.

If you like the sound of more power, you can pick from a 190hp 2.0-litre petrol or a 200hp 2.0-litre diesel, too. They’re badged 40 TFSI and 40 TDI, respectively.

A range-topping 245hp 2.0-litre petrol, badged 45 TFSI, promises to do 0-62mph in 5.8 seconds, while a 245hp 1.4-litre plug-in hybrid is reasonably quick but will do around 35 miles on electric power alone.

Because they’re designed to be sporty, Audi Q3 S line cars for sale come with a slightly firmer suspension setup as well as striking alloy wheels and plenty of S line badges along the sporty bodykit.

Inside, there’s an easy-to-use infotainment system that uses Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ambient lighting, and leather upholstery.

They also come with dual-zone climate control, a digital instrument cluster, cruise control, parking sensors, and lots of safety kit.

Though once considered to be a high-spec model, S line now sits in the middle of the range but is still an extremely popular choice for new and used car buyers alike.

Black Edition models sit above S line and there have also been RS Q3 models, but these are considered separate models from the regular Q3 range.

Sport is now the entry-level choice, but previously, there were also lower-spec SE and Technik cars.
