The latest models get an incredible Porsche Advanced Cockpit, with a high-resolution 10.9-inch touchscreen display, and touch-sensitive buttons. It’s easy to use and feels modern but without the loss of that classic Porsche charm. There's also the addition of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

There are also touches that car fans will really enjoy. The centrally positioned rev counter comes straight from the iconic Porsche 911 model, and there’s an analogue clock in the centre of the dash that Porsche says is a metaphor for embracing time in sports cars.  

Although the Macan is a luxury vehicle, it's still practical for everyday use. The boot is already spacious at 488 litres, but can extend to 1,503 litres if you drop the rear seats.

The standard Macan engine set-up is a 2.0-litre petrol, capable of 265hp in the 2021 model and 245hp in the models that came before. This one has a claimed 0-62mph of six seconds, and feels great when you put your foot down.
