What types of used Toyota Camry cars are there?

How much does the Toyota Camry cost to run?

The humble Camry is very reasonable when it comes to running costs. Because it’s a self-charging hybrid, you only need to fill it up with petrol, and never need to plug it in.  

Its engine is a 2.5-litre petrol that offers decent performance, strong fuel economy and a smooth driving experience. It’s mated to a CVT automatic gearbox that isn’t quite Porsche’s PDK, but it is very reliable. 

Because of this setup, you can expect it to return around 50mpg, so you’ll be at the petrol station far less often than with some of its rivals. It also has low maintenance costs because Toyota knows a thing or two about making a car last.  

There have been reports on various internet forums of Camrys reaching well over 500,000 miles, which is testament to its high standard of engineering mixed with the owner’s rigorous care.
