A 2025 update to the 408 brought a bigger 17.2kWh battery and an electric-only range of 48 miles – with an off-peak rate of 7p/kWh, this could cost around £1.20 to fully charge.
We even spent a week behind the wheel of the 408 just after it had launched, and never saw fuel economy figures drop below 40mpg. With regular charging, we managed to get around 90mpg.
