The Nissan Juke is a real favourite on UK roads, with many appreciating the modern SUV’s affordable price point.  

There's a range of Juke models to choose from, including the Juke Acenta for an extra touch of luxury, or the Tekna model for some added techy embellishments.   

It’s a great way to get in on the SUV action without breaking the bank, especially if you go for a used Juke, and Nissan has a reputation for high-quality and reliable manufacturing.  

Each edition of the Nissan Juke is comfortable and enjoyable to drive, and comes with some added drive aids that’ll be appreciated on the daily commute.  

Our personal favourite Juke model is the Nismo RS – it's one of the sportiest models that the Juke line offers and takes what could be a sensible SUV up a few levels. If you want a bit more power and a focus on performance, as well as some exciting visual touches, that’s the one to pick.   

What features does the Nissan Juke have?

Each Nissan Juke model comes with its own range of features that are unique to the car, but you’ll get some equipment across the board as standard.  

All Juke models have a comfortable and spacious interior, with a roomy boot that’ll typically fit 350 litres.  

The flashier models get some exciting tech – think keyless entry for easy access, parking cameras and sensors to give you extra peace of mind, handy built-in navigation and infotainment screens, plus ambient lighting and those all-important heated seats.  

Plus, some models get a panoramic sunroof option that we can get behind on toasty summer days – especially on family outings.  

For the price you pay for an already impressive car that drives as well as it looks, having those extra features is a bonus.

What is the Nissan Juke like to drive?

Since there’s such a wide range of Nissan Jukes to take your pick from, the level of performance will depend on which model you go for. Luckily, each Juke model is easy to drive and feels safe and sturdy on the roads without seeming too bulky, no matter the engine inside.  

You can choose to go all out and get a powerful Juke Nismo RS model, as it offers an exciting 1.6-litre turbocharged engine – enough to give this a boost from a sensible SUV to something that will have you grinning once you’ve dropped the kids off at the school gate. This model can hit 0-60mph in seven seconds and could reach top speeds of 137mph – not bad for a family car! 

If you’re not chasing speed and just want to embrace the functionality of your Juke, the Acenta is the luxury model that swaps extra power for extra plushness. It’s easy to drive and really enjoyable, but isn’t quite as speedy as the Nismo offering.
