Mitsubishi
Outlander
The Mitsubishi Outlander launched in the UK at the beginning of 2013 as a high-tech plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV).
It became the car of choice for those wanting Toyota Prius-like battery economy but in an SUV shape with that reliable Mitsubishi badge.
Since their arrival, the Outlander and Outlander PHEV have seen improvements to their battery capacities as well as their overall styling.
One of the main selling points of the Outlander is its large amount of storage space, as it can seat up to seven people and has a decent-sized boot. It’s a great choice for a practical family car.
You’ll also get the choice of a range of trims, including the Dynamic, Juro, and Design models.
The Mitsubishi Outlander sticks to classic Mitsubishi style by offering a sleek and functional interior.
Standard features in entry-level models include a reversing camera, rear parking sensors, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, heated front seats, a DAB radio, Bluetooth, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
Top-spec models include features such as a built-in sat nav, keyless entry, a 360-degree parking camera, leather seats and steering wheel, LED headlights and a heated windscreen.
Aside from the tech, the real selling point of the Outlander is its interior space for both passengers and luggage. Because of its SUV shape, the Outlander is very practical and has 591 litres of bootspace, which grows to 1,022 litres once the rear seats are folded flat.

You can get a used Mitsubishi Outlander with a couple of engine options, depending on what you prefer.
First is the petrol-only variant, which is powered by a 2.0-litre engine that produces 150hp. This model will be perfect for most motorists and will feel comfortable and easy to drive.
Next up is the hybrid system, which is a 2.4-litre petrol engine mated to two electric motors producing a combined output of 312hp. This one is ideal for improving your fuel efficiency.
No matter which option you go for, you’ll get an amazing four-wheel drive system and automatic gearbox, making your life so much easier in worse weather or off-road.
Another swanky feature of the Outlander PHEV is regenerative braking, which feeds more power into the battery to ensure you get the most range possible.
The cost of a used Mitsubishi Outlander on finance will depend on the model you choose and the type of finance you go for.

All Outlander models have seven seats – the last three are hidden in the boot!
Every Outlander model variant has four-wheel drive, so you won’t need to worry about getting stuck in mud or snow.
The Outlander would tow with ease thanks to its 1.5-tonne towing capacity.
