> Genesis G80 Sport Line – to make it sporty, this adds a different exterior body kit, dark glossy chrome accents and carbon fibre-effect interior trim bits

There have only been two trims of Genesis G80 to date, and we didn’t even get the first one here in the UK, but luckily, we benefit from the new and improved second-gen.

Sitting at the top of the Genesis lineup, like the S-Class does at Mercedes, the G80 comes packed with the full works in terms of tech and features. 

Go for the top-of-the-range G80 Luxury Line and you get everything from a large central 14.5-inch infotainment screen to quilted leather seats and even real wood inside. 

But while technology plays an important role in the cabin, the rear seats are where the real attention has been paid.  

Like any other luxury saloon, a used Genesis G80 offers lots of space for rear-seat passengers with reclining, heated and ventilated executive seats so you can travel everywhere in style. 

Is the Genesis G80 reliable?

Being the luxury arm of Hyundai, a used Genesis is a safe bet with regards to overall dependability. 

As standard, all Genesis cars come with a five-year/unlimited-mile warranty that can be passed on to subsequent owners for peace of mind. 

On the safety front, the G80 scored a full five stars in its Euro NCAP safety test in 2021, offering excellent protection for both adult and child occupants, seated in the front and back. 

How much does the Genesis G80 cost to run?

There are two different engines available on used Genesis G80 cars, starting with a 2.5-litre petrol (returning up to 31.2mpg) and then moving to the 2.2-litre diesel (45mpg). 

There’s also a fully electric version, known as the G80 Electrified which offers up to 323 miles of range from its 82.5kWh battery that can be charged from 10-80% in 22 minutes. 

No matter which version you go for, you’re getting a refined and quiet driving experience, similar to that of a Rolls-Royce but for much less money.
