Start nowTitanium is one of the highest trim levels you can get in Ford’s range, but it’s also an incredibly popular version that’s easy to come by.
The first Ford Focus Titanium arrived in 2008 as part of an update to the second-generation model.
Now, third- and fourth-generation models have been produced, each with their own take on the popular Titanium trim.
Despite its appeal, it's never been significantly more expensive than lesser-specced versions of the Focus, and the difference is even smaller when buying used, so it’s a truly affordable model.
Because the Ford Focus Titanium spans three separate generations of the Focus, there’s a wide array of specifications to pick from.
For example, third-generation models introduced in 2010 were among the first to be available with the popular 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol engine, producing 100hp and above in certain configurations. The 120hp 1.5-litre diesel was also a popular option.
Newer fourth-generation models sold from 2018 have also been available with a few mild hybrid options, which promise lower car tax bills thanks to reduced emissions.
The most powerful mild hybrid 1.0-litre petrol engine has 155hp.
Specification levels have varied over the years, but the latest facelifted models come with a large touchscreen infotainment system, keyless entry, all-around parking sensors, and cruise control.
Older Titanium models also came with heated seats, but these were moved over to the higher-spec Titanium X trim.
Even the earliest Focus Titanium models get automatic wipers, dual-zone climate control and parking sensors.
For a long time, Titanium was the most premium version of Focus you could buy, but newer Vignale models have been introduced that sit above the Titanium.
There are also different variations of Titanium – for example, Titanium X is slightly better equipped.
The Focus Titanium is the entry-level model at this point, but previously, it sat above lower-spec cars like Style, Trend, and Zetec.
This depends on the model you choose. The 1.0-litre petrol engine produces 121hp and the 1.5-litre diesel produces 116hp.
This name used to be reserved for the top range Focus model that gets the full luxury treatment, but now it's for the entry-level model.
The Focus Titanium used to be the top-spec model but now it's positioned as the entry-level model. Despite this, it still comes with all the tech you could ever want from a hatchback.
The Ford Focus Titanium typically includes features such as a large infotainment screen, keyless entry and start, LED headlights and a quick-clear windscreen.
Depending on the engine, the Focus Titanium returns up to 61.4mpg with its petrol engine and 67.3mpg with the diesel.
