BYD ATTO 3 batteries and motors
The ATTO 3 is an electric-only model. It comes with a 60.4kWh battery, capable of 261 miles between charges (or 351 miles at city speeds).
BYD’s Blade Batteries use LFP chemistry, which means you can regularly rapid charge the ATTO 3 and keep the charge limit at 100% without worrying about abnormal battery degradation.
11kW AC charging is standard, as is 110kW rapid charging for a 10-80% top-up in 35 minutes.
The 204hp electric motor puts power down through the front wheels. Both trims get to 62mph in 7.3 seconds.
What’s the best BYD ATTO 3 trim level?
Comfort offers the best value, because this is the cheapest of the two, but it’s loaded with all the equipment you could ever need.
Design adds a few more luxuries for around £2,000 more (when new), but we think Comfort suits most people.
