What features does the MINI Convertible have?

There are a fair few models in the Mini Convertible range, and each gets its own unique range of features – it’s a good idea to browse the collection and see what takes your fancy.   

The Cooper Convertible in the Classic model is entry-level, but you’ll still get loads of brilliant touches, like a fully electric soft-top that opens in 18 seconds, an 8.8-inch colour touchscreen, Mini Connected and remote services, and front and rear LED lights.   

The Cooper Convertible S in the Resolute trim is up there with the flashiest of the newest models. It usually offers all the standard stuff, as well as extras like exclusive Resolute Bronze design elements and foil finish on the dashboard, and piano black styling touches.

What is the MINI Convertible like to drive?

How your used Mini Convertible feels to drive will depend on the model you pick, but you can be certain that it will always be a superb experience.   

The handling on the Convertible is agile and sharp, and you’ll be guaranteed good performance. The suspension is comfortable too, and does a great job of providing a smooth drive.   

There are a number of options for engines, including an impressive 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol from the latest Convertible John Cooper model. That one puts out 231hp and feels particularly nippy when you’re behind the wheel.   

There’s also a 1.5-litre three-cylinder petrol engine that puts out 136hp, which is perfect for an entry-level model that’s ideal for everyday use. That one still gives you a good pull on the roads, and settles into a casual cruise with ease.
