When the Vauxhall Zafira launched in 1999, it took the MPV market by storm with its clever seating layout, huge interior space and excellent build quality.    

The Zafira is now in its third generation and has been upgraded each time.

Vauxhall stopped selling the Zafira in 2018 after nearly 20 years on sale due to the rising popularity of SUVs and increasing numbers of van-based people carriers. 

Originally, the Zafira was based on the very successful Astra but with a larger chassis and increased interior space, which attracted families.

However, once the rear seats located in the boot are unfolded, the Zafira becomes a seven-seater MPV. 

It's available in a variety of trim levels, from the entry-level Active and Design models to the range-topping SRi model.    

Standard equipment found across the range includes an infotainment system (depending on the model year), DAB radio, Bluetooth connectivity, Isofix child seat anchor points, remote locking, folding rear seats, CD player and roof rails. Higher-spec trims get extras like sports seats and air-conditioning.
