The Vauxhall Adam was launched in 2013, with its main competitor being the Fiat 500. 

The Adam range is available in Energised, Griffin and Slam trim levels, with more rugged variants such as the Rocks Air, Energised and Unlimited joining further through its life cycle.

In 2013, the Vauxhall Adam won an award for its interior, beating models such as the new Range Rover and Renault Clio.

What is the Vauxhall Adam like to drive?

The Vauxhall Adam is available with three different petrol engine options including a 1.0-litre turbocharged engine, a 1.2-litre 16-valve engine, and a 1.4-litre normally aspirated engine that was introduced towards the end of the Adam’s production cycle.  

The most popular engine option is the Corsa-derived 1.0-litre engine that produces 113bhp, with the naturally aspirated 1.2-litre and 1.4-litre engines producing 69hp and 86hp respectively.

However, all engines are perfectly adequate to perform daily driving tasks such as going to the shops, doing the school run, and day-to-day work commutes.
