Infiniti was established in 1989, essentially designing and building more luxurious versions of Nissans.  

It has since been established as its own entity, making some of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region’s favourite cars. 

History of Infiniti

Infiniti is currently owned by the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance, which means they’re well-made cars that use plenty of reliable tried-and-tested parts.  

The brand is all about looking forward, which is why its slogan is ‘New Horizons’ and its badge shows two central lines stretching into the horizon.  

Some of its older cars from before 2000 were really just jazzy Nissans, but now its models have their own identity, such as the Q50 and Q60 saloons and larger QX SUV models. 

Standout Infiniti features

Being closely linked to Japan’s Nissan, you’ll find some excellent features throughout all its newer models, such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a panoramic moonroof and a range of solid engines.  

Infiniti cars are also reliable, thanks to the backing from its parent company and its tried-and-tested parts.  

This makes running costs as low as possible, but note that older models may cost more to run, but that’s standard with all cars.  

As for safety, its most recent models to be tested by Euro NCAP scored a full five stars, offering high adult and child occupant safety. 

This is thanks to features such as ISOFIX points, airbags, automatic emergency braking (AEB) and electronic stability control (ESC).  

You should buy an Infiniti if you like to stand out from the crowd and want something reliable but with high levels of luxury throughout.
