What is the Ford Kuga Titanium X?

Titanium has long been associated with excellent equipment levels in the Ford range, and the Titanium X model takes that one step further.

These days, many of the previously-available entry-level models have been cut from Ford’s range, making Titanium X a mid-spec example that’s excellent value for money.

When Ford launched its third-generation model in 2019, it stopped offering Titanium X, which means you’ll be looking at more affordable second-generation models introduced from 2012.

What are the Ford Kuga Titanium X specs?

The most common Kuga Titanium X for sale comes with a 1.5-litre petrol engine. Newer models produce 150hp, but some older ones went up to 176hp.

You’ll also find a selection of second-hand Ford Kuga Titanium X cars with diesel engines, including a 120hp 1.5-litre diesel and a 2.0-litre diesel with either 150hp or 180hp.

There’s a mix of front- and four-wheel drive, which are available in petrol and diesel forms, so the choice is great.

Used Ford Kuga Titanium X features and equipment

Titanium X models come with plenty of niceties, such as a panoramic sunroof, a powered boot lid, parking sensors, heated seats, cruise control and an infotainment system that runs Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

This is on top of things that Titanium models have like an electronic parking brake, dual-zone climate control and stop-start.

All Ford Kuga cars for sale also come with a heated windscreen, which makes defrosting an icy window far less hassle in the winter.

Where the Kuga Titanium X sits in the Ford range

Titanium X was one of the highest trim levels offered on the second-generation Kuga, sitting one step above the Titanium model.

ST-Line and ST-Line X models are fairly equal in terms of kit, but they get a more sporty bodykit.

Lower-spec Zetec models and plush Vignale trims were also offered, but don’t offer as much value for money as a Titanium X.
