What is the Ford Fiesta ST-3?

ST is the name given to Ford’s performance models, and it stands for Sports Technologies. The Ford Fiesta ST is the performance version of the UK's most traded used car, and it has a lot of appeal.

In its highest trim, the used Fiesta ST-3 benefits from car tech and gadgets that you’d usually expect to find in more expensive models.

What are the Ford Fiesta ST specs?

All versions of the Ford Fiesta ST, including the top-spec ST-3 model, come with the same performance petrol engine.

In the case of the latest seventh-generation model sold between 2017 and 2023, that’s a 1.5-litre three-cylinder EcoBoost engine with a total of 200hp. It’s good for 0-62mph in 6.5 seconds.

Previous versions came with a 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine, with a slightly lower power output of 182hp, though a special edition ST-200 model had 200hp. They do 0-62mph in 6.9 seconds and 6.7 seconds, respectively.

Other trim levels include the premium-feeling Titanium, Titanium X, Titanium Vignale, and Vignale models. Lower-spec options include the Zetec, Trend and Style.
