What is the Ford EcoSport Titanium?

The Ford EcoSport Titanium has an SUV-like stance but reasonably compact dimensions because it shares many of its mechanical parts with the popular Fiesta.

A second-hand Ford EcoSport Titanium represents a sweet spot for this model because it comes with lots of kit at an affordable price point.

What are the Ford EcoSport Titanium specs?

There are plenty of engines to pick from, but our pick would be the 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol. It comes with 125hp so it feels pretty nippy, but there are also 100hp variants available.

Diesel power comes in the form of an economical 1.5-litre engine, which was available with a few different power outputs. The most popular are the 100hp and 120hp versions.

There are also some older 112hp 1.5-litre petrols, but while these can be more affordable to buy, they’re generally not so efficient.

Used Ford EcoSport Titanium features and equipment

One generation of the EcoSport was available before Ford discontinued the model, but there were numerous updates including a pretty considerable facelift in 2017.

Newer used Ford EcoSport Titanium models come with automatic lights and wipers, part-faux leather upholstery, cruise control, rear parking sensors with a reversing camera, ambient lighting and a heated windscreen.

They also come with an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, but older models, which are most easily recognisable by the spare wheel on the back of the car, get a less hi-tech system that relies on Bluetooth for smartphone connectivity.

Where the EcoSport Titanium sits in the Ford range

Three key trim levels were available for the Ford EcoSport, and an EcoSport Titanium for sale represents a mid-level option.

Entry-level Zetec models come with less equipment, making Titanium look like exceptional value, while the ST-Line trim offers a sportier design.

Other trim levels include a smarter-looking ST-Line Design, Titanium S and a more rugged Active model.
