What is the Ford EcoSport ST-Line?

ST-Line is a sporty-looking trim level that’s inspired by hot hatches like the Fiesta ST, so used EcoSport ST-Line models come with a stylish bodykit and a more eye-catching design.

Besides the cosmetic improvements, used Ford EcoSport ST-Line cars come with plenty of equipment to make them models you can buy with your heart and your head.

Because the EcoSport is a small crossover, it comes with Ford’s renowned 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol engines, which we think is great news.

What are the Ford EcoSport ST-Line specs?

Some early models came with a 112hp 1.5-litre petrol engine – it’s reasonably efficient, but it needs to be worked hard in some situations.

The better option is the popular 1.0-litre EcoBoost, which comes with 125hp. It’s smooth and refined, and it feels fairly quick, too.

If you do a lot of long-distance driving, then the 100hp and 125hp 1.5-litre diesels are excellent picks.

Used Ford EcoSport ST-Line features and equipment

Ford no longer sells the EcoSport, but it’s still a fairly recent model and was available until early 2023, so comes with plenty of car tech.

A used EcoSport ST-Line comes with keyless entry, parking sensors, a reversing camera, cruise control, heated seats, a heated steering wheel and a touchscreen infotainment system that runs Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Even older examples get many of these features, like keyless entry and heated seats, but they have a smaller screen for the infotainment system that limits you to Bluetooth for smartphone connectivity.

Where the EcoSport ST-Line sits in the Ford range

ST-Line models are generally considered to have similar levels of equipment to Titanium models, however Titanium has a more understated design.

Titanium S was also previously available, while an entry-level Zetec car is also a good option to buy used.

Adding to the crossover design, Active models come with an even more rugged look as well as plenty of equipment.
