What is the BMW X2 Sport?

Sport is a mid-spec trim level available on the BMW X2, which gives the car a slightly sportier look without compromising its SUV stance.

Despite its sloping roofline, the X2 Sport still has a 470-litre boot, which is more than you’d get in a typical family hatchback.

You’ll have no problem finding a used BMW X2 Sport because this is a popular trim level that has been available since the launch of the car in 2017.

What are the BMW X2 Sport specs?

If you like the sound of diesel power, which can be more efficient on longer trips, you’ll have the pick of the 150hp 18d and 190hp 20d engines, which are both 2.0-litre units.

There’s also a 136hp 1.5-litre petrol, badged 18i, and a more powerful 2.0-litre 20i variant, with power outputs of 178hp or 192hp.

For those looking to cut their bills even further, a plug-in hybrid with an electric range of around 20 miles is also available. The 25e uses a 1.5-litre petrol engine and produces a total of 220hp.

Used BMW X2 Sport features and equipment

A used BMW X2 Sport comes with more equipment than you might think, giving it a luxury feel over many rivals. Kit like a powered boot lid adds to this feel.

Beyond that, you could consider a M35i model, but its 306hp 2.0-litre petrol engine makes it expensive to buy and run.
