A used Q2 Black Edition is a top-spec version of this premium crossover, and it comes loaded with about as much kit as you can get in this type of car.

Aside from an extensive equipment list, a Q2 Black Edition for sale is a very stylish trim, adding even more style than the popular S line version.

The Black Edition trim was added to the Q2 range a few years after the car initially went on sale, but there are still plenty of used Q2 cars for sale in this appealing format with considerable savings.

What are the Audi Q2 Black Edition specs?

If you’ve got your eye on a newer Q2 Black Edition for sale, you’ll notice that most come with petrol power. There are 110hp 1.0-litre and 150hp 1.5-litre engine available.

Open your search up to slightly older models and you can get a few more engine options, including a 190hp 2.0-litre petrol engine.

There are also 116hp 1.6-litre and 150hp 2.0-litre diesel variants, but Audi stopped selling these a few years ago due to market trends.

Used Audi Q2 Black Edition features and equipment

Black Edition versions of the Audi Q2 swap out all the exterior chrome styling for black details, as well as dark grey or black alloy wheels, which gives them a far more aggressive look compared to lower trim levels.

They also get LED headlights, interior ambient lighting, a firmer sports suspension, air-conditioning and a powered boot lid. These are specific to newer models, so if you’re looking at an older Q2 Black Edition, remember to check any individual listing for its kit list.

In terms of car tech, you’ll get a digital instrument cluster and a touchscreen infotainment system that works with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Where the Q2 Black Edition sits in the Audi range

Black Edition is the highest trim level that Audi currently offers on the Q2, and it sits one step above the sporty-looking and very popular S line model.

Currently, the mid-spec Sport is the cheapest version of the Q2 you can buy, but Audi previously sold entry-level SE and Technik models, too.

For a short period, a range-topping Vorsprung model was on offer and is a great alternative to Black Edition models. There’s also a sporty SQ2 variant, which has a 300hp 2.0-litre petrol engine.
