For example, even the massive 100kWh battery in the A6 e-tron could cost as little as £7 to fully charge with an off-peak rate (7pkWh), giving you more than 450 miles of claimed range.

However, pay for the convenience of public rapid charging and you could pay more than ten times that, with typical DC chargers costing upwards of 79p/kWh, bringing the total to £79.
