Say hello to two new JAECOO 7 models
Black Luxury edition and all-new self-charging hybrid versions of the JAECOO 7 launching in 2026
)
The JAECOO 7 is one of the UK's best-selling cars, and now it's been made even better with the introduction of two new changes.
New to the '7' are the Black Luxury Edition and a self-charging hybrid, joining the existing plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and pure petrol models.
New JAECOO 7 Black Luxury
Adding 'black packs' to popular cars isn't new – brands like Audi have been doing it for years – but for the first time, you can add one to your JAECOO 7.
The JAECOO 7 Black Luxury does exactly what it says on the tin, offering a blacked-out, stealthy look to the lineup.
It adds blacked-out badges, wheels, paint, mirrors – the lot.
The Black Luxury is only available on the top-spec plug-in hybrid model, starting from £36,500.
New JAECOO 7 hybrid
The second addition to the JAECOO 7 family is another hybrid option to sit alongside the existing plug-in hybrid (known as the JAECOO 7 SHS-P).
This new one is a self-charging hybrid (dubbed SHS-H) that uses the existing 1.5-litre petrol engine, adding electric power for low-speed driving without ever needing to plug it in (the engine recharges the battery for you).
Power sits at 225hp, with a 0-62mph of 8.3 seconds, and up to a claimed 53mpg. For reference, the standard petrol JAECOO 7 returns 35mpg.
Like all other JAECOO 7s, the new hybrid will be available in two trim levels: Pure and Deluxe, starting at around £29,000.
