What features does the MINI Clubman have?

The Clubman is filled with features and has that instantly recognisable Mini interior setup.    

It features an impressive infotainment system, with an optional 6.5-inch screen that will display all the driving information and entertainment options you need.    

As standard, the latest Clubman models get built-in sat-nav with real-time traffic information and Mini Connected Services, and you can also grab Apple CarPlay software.  

There are options to upgrade and get optional camera-based driver assistance systems with park distance control for squeezing into those tight spots. There are also options for a Mini heads-up system, so you can keep up to date with your car’s information without getting distracted from the road.    

A lot of the Clubman models also get luxury touches like heated seats, and we love that you can also get a sunroof for those sunnier days.    

Is the MINI Clubman reliable?

Being part of the BMW group, there’s very little to be concerned about when it comes to reliability with a used Mini Clubman. It’s full of tried-and-tested parts, as well as some solid engines shared with its German counterpart. 

It’s safe too, scoring four out of five stars following its most recent Euro NCAP safety test in 2015.

How much does the MINI Clubman cost to run?

You’ll get a choice of 1.5-litre and 2.0-litre engines with the Clubman, and each one is easy to drive and efficient. That doesn’t mean it’s boring, however, as the Clubman can be fun to drive. 

It’s available as a petrol or diesel model with automatic and manual gearboxes and is offered in a range of trims that add on different driving aids and tech that’ll improve your drive.    

The standard model is the 1.5-litre engine that produces 136hp and is ideal for everyday use.   

The 2.0-litre Clubman Cooper S is the model for you if power and performance is a must, with 189hp on offer and a claimed 0-62mph of 7.2 seconds.

Who is the MINI Clubman suitable for?

We’d recommend a used Mini Clubman to anyone who has dogs or a family because it’s got plenty of space and is compact enough for daily driving.

We would advise getting the second-generation model as it has four doors and more interior space.
