Tyre insurance

Tyre insurance starts at £276 for 36 months' cover. This is paid for in 10 monthly instalments (e.g. £27.60 per month) by Direct Debit. 

The specific price will be shown to you during checkout and depends on the amount of cover you take out. You can choose from four levels of cover, from £100 to £500 per tyre (including VAT). 

If you choose multiple cinchCover products, each one will show as a separate Direct Debit in your bank statement.  

Payments start within 30 days from when you buy any cinchCover products, whether you do this when you buy your car or at a later date.

There’s a 30-day cooling-off period for all cinchCover products that starts from the start date on the policy schedule or receipt of the terms and conditions (whichever is later). If you cancel within this cooling-off period and have not already made a successful claim on your policy, you’ll be refunded any payments you’ve made.

After the cooling-off period, you can still cancel your cinchCover plan(s) without a charge.

To make a claim, visit the Vehicle Care app by Assurant or yourvehiclecare.co.uk. Select 'Get Repair Help' on your dashboard to start a claim and provide details of the damage, including photos. Helpful tips are available throughout, and you can start a claim anytime. Alternatively, you can call 0333 220 66 22* (Monday to Friday 9am-5pm).    

Keep in mind that you need to submit your claim as soon as possible after any incidents. If you submit a claim more than 30 days after the incident, you might not be covered.  

*Calls to 03 numbers are the same costs as a call to a standard “01” or “02” landline number, even when calling from a mobile. Calls to 03 numbers are also included in any bundled minutes or free talk time that covers landline calls. Calls may be recorded or monitored for Training/Customer Services purposes and/or the prevention or detection of crime.
