All went very smoothly BUT The team completely assumed I would know how to drive the car which was very ‘non conventional’. It is a hybrid with no gears or handbrake. No questions were asked to see if I was ok before driving away

Few problems but ended well!

Purchased a car online on 26th March and earliest delivery date I could get was 12th April due to quality checks. Purchase process/finance set up was quick, easy and painless. I also part exed my old vehicle, and whilst it was a lower price this was also straightforward and no nitpicking. On delivery the driver handed me my keys, checked my old car hopped in and drove off and on starting my new vehicle the engine management light was off. I contacted cinch immediately and they booked me an appointment 10 days later with the cinch engineer, however the vehicle appeared to be driving fine. Three days later the vehicles (auto) gearbox failed on a major roundabout. I used the RAC cover included in the warranty and they eventually came out and advised there was a major gearbox fault, and returned my vehicle to my home address to see the cinch engineer a week later. Cinch organised for a hire car to be delivered to me by the next morning which I thought was great customer service. When the engineer came he said all he could do was clear the codes, and the vehicle was best to be diagnosed/repaired by the main dealership. The vehicle was booked in with the dealership by Cinch for the 30th of April, and they diagnosed the vehicle required a new gearbox control unit. The works were approved and paid by Cinch the same day and although the part took a week to arrive, a month after delivery I am now driving, and very happy with my new car! It wasn’t a great buying experience and I wouldn’t have put up with the issues I’ve encountered had I bought the vehicle from a physical garage however Cinch’s customer service have been faultless start to finish. They resolved all of my issues, put up with my endless chasing, provided me with a hire vehicle and ensured my vehicle was promptly prepared by a main dealership, so all is well that ends well!

A simple process

A simple process, very good communications and an exceedingly helpful delivery driver who took the time to explain all the controls etc. (Derek Popple is a star). Car was as good as the advert said it would be and we are very pleased.
