About the Nissan Pulsar

A used Nissan Pulsar is now the only way to experience this brilliant car in the UK, as Nissan made the choice to discontinue the model as SUV sales took over the market.  

The Pulsar is still a practical, spacious model for those who aren’t all about the SUV, and it will easily fit into family life. It’s dependable on the roads, easy to drive, and efficient to run.   

You’ll find options for interiors decked out with tech and a choice of reliable engines, and will be guaranteed a smooth and comfortable cruise. Plus, it comes in at a really affordable price point while never feeling like a budget model.   

You can choose from a range of trims, including the Acenta and Tekna models. These come with the added bonus of the reliable Nissan reputation for extra peace of mind.  

What features does the Nissan Pulsar have?

There are a few used Nissan Pulsar trims available across the range, so you can choose which model and features suit your needs.   

You’ll usually find that all Pulsar models get a five-inch TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity. Steering wheel-mounted controls are also handy, especially for keeping your full attention on the roads.   

The Acenta trim offers features like automatic headlights and wipers, and Nissan’s Intelligent Key technology that never requires you to actually insert a key.

What's the Nissan Pulsar like to drive?

The Nissan Pulsar wasn’t made for high speeds or thrilling races, but it does do a spectacular job of offering a no-fuss, comfortable and easy drive that’s perfect for everyday use.  

There is a choice of petrol and diesel engines on offer, and both are well-made and reliable. The most affordable option is usually the 1.2-litre 115hp petrol, but it doesn't feel cheap. It offers a great blend of efficiency and sleek driving performance, with enough power to feel perky on the motorway.   

The 1.6-litre petrol engine is more geared towards performance, and has a claimed 0-62mph of 7.7 seconds, plus 190hp.   

The diesel is also impressive and is well suited to motorists who like to really go the distance. It’s a 1.5-litre 110hp set-up, with an impressive 78.5mpg statistic.
