What is the Ford Galaxy Titanium X?

Titanium has been the name that Ford has given to its top-spec models for several years, and a second-hand Ford Galaxy Titanium X is a notch above.

This is Ford’s biggest seven-seater people carrier, and despite it being practical enough to carry around seven adults with relative ease, it’s still a car that the driver can enjoy.

What are the Ford Galaxy Titanium X specs?

The majority of buyers tend to opt for one of the 2.0-litre diesel engines, which come with either 150hp or 190hp. The most powerful lends itself better to a car full of passengers.

Older models also had the option of 210hp or 240hp in diesel form, but these aren’t generally as common and can cost more to run. There’s also a 165hp 1.5-litre petrol.

Elsewhere in the range, there’s a 190hp 2.5-litre hybrid, but this became available at a time when Ford stopped offering the Titanium X, so you’ll have to go for a well-equipped Titanium model instead.

There’s an entry-level Zetec model, but this comes with a lot more equipment than the Zetec trim in Ford’s smaller cars, so it’s a great pick.

Trim choices are limited, and there are no sporty ST-Line variants or plush Vignale versions as you’d find in the brand’s other models.
