Getting your BYD MOT at cinch: how it works
Step1
Book in your BYD
Input your BYD details, choose your nearest location and book your test
Step 2
Arrive for your test
Arrive at the centre, hand over your keys, and we'll take your BYD for its test
Step 3
Get your MOT
We perform the MOT test. Wait, or leave and come back when we're done. After the MOT, we take payment and give you your new certificate
Step 4
Any work required
If your BYD didn't pass its MOT, we'll discuss your options to get it retested and passed
What can I do to help my BYD pass its MOT?
Here are some easy things you can do to prepare your BYD car for its MOT:
Check your lights are working
Check that your wipers are in good condition
Check your mirrors (inside and out) are free from cracks
Check your tyre tread using the 20p test
Check the horn works
Top up your screenwash, brake fluid and oil (unless you're getting a service done at the same time - in which case, that'll be done for you)
Give your car a spring clean inside and out, including the lights and number plates
