Valentine's Week Promotion
These are the terms and conditions (“Rules”) that apply to cinch’s Valentine’s week £200 prize draw (“Promotion”). By entering the Promotion, each entrant agrees to these Rules and confirms they have read and understood the Cinch Privacy Notice at https://www.cinch.co.uk/privacy. Please also see how we limit our liability in in the “Liability” section below.
1. Promoter: Cinch Cars Limited, a company registered in England (company no. 11520330) with its registered office address at Form 2, 18 Bartley Wood Business Park, Bartley Way, Hook, Hampshire RG27 9XA (“Cinch”).
2. Entry period: The Promotion opens for entry at 09:00 on 05/02/2024 and closes at 17:00 on 15/02/2024 (“Entry Period”).
3. Eligibility: Entry is open to legal residents of Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales only) who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry. Entrants must have a valid UK bank account in order to receive the prize. The Promotion is not open to employees and contractors of Cinch, their families and households and anyone else professionally involved or associated with the Promotion. Cinch reserves the right at any time to require proof of eligibility in such form as Cinch reasonably requires.
4. How to enter: To enter the Promotion, entrants must ‘favourite’ a car on cinch.co.uk during the Entry Period. If the entrant does not have a cinch account, they must create one to be able to ‘favourite’ a car. A limit of one (1) entry per person applies to the Promotion.
5. Prizes: There are five (5) prizes to be won in this Promotion, consisting of £200 cash each (each a “Prize”, together the “Prizes”).
6. Prize conditions: Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable and no cash alternative is available. However, if Cinch considers it appropriate, or if it becomes necessary for reasons beyond Cinch’s control (e.g. if a Prize becomes unavailable for any reason), a Prize may be varied or swapped for a suitable alternative in Cinch’s discretion.
7. Winner selection: All eligible entries will be entered into a random draw to select the winners on 19/02/24 The winners will be the entrants whose names are drawn at random from all eligible entries.
8. Winner notification: The winners will be notified by phone call and/or email using the contact details contained in the winner’s cinch account within 30 (thirty) days of the completion of the winner selection process. Cinch will make reasonable efforts to contact the winners, but it is the winner’s responsibility to monitor their email (including spam folder) and voicemail for receipt of the notification.
9. Claiming the Prize: The winner must claim their Prize within 14 (fourteen) days of Cinch’s initial win notification by providing the information requested in the win notification. If the winner fails to provide any information required by Cinch by the claim deadline, Cinch reserves the right to disqualify the winner and select an alternative winner. The alternative winner will be selected using the same process as the original selection process and must claim the Prize within 14 (fourteen) days of Cinch’s win notification.
10. Prize delivery: The Prize will be paid to a UK bank account in the name of the winner using the bank account details notified to Cinch during the claim process. The Prize will be paid within 30 (thirty) days of all required information being provided by the winner, unless a later delivery date is agreed with the winner during the claim process.
11. Liability: Nothing in these Rules limits or excludes any person’s liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or for any matter for which liability cannot be lawfully limited or excluded. In particular, consumers have legal rights in relation to products that are faulty or not as described and services which are not performed with reasonable care and skill and these legal rights are in addition to and are not affected in any way by anything contained in these Rules. However, to the fullest extent permissible by law, Cinch will not be liable for: (i) any loss or damage caused by a third party who is not acting on behalf of or under the direct instructions of Cinch; (ii) any loss or damage occurring as a result of the winner taking up and using any third-party product or service forming part of the Prize (except where caused by the negligence of Cinch, its agents or distributors or that of their employees); (iii) any loss or damage caused by any event or circumstance beyond Cinch’s reasonable control; (iv) any loss of profits or revenue, loss of anticipated savings or loss of goodwill; or (v) any unavailability of Cinch’s websites, apps or social media accounts. Further advice about consumer rights is available from any local Citizens’ Advice Bureau (https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/) or local Trading Standards office (http://www.gov.uk/find-local-trading-standards-officehttps://www.gov.uk/find-local-trading-standards-office).
12. No endorsement: The Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with any social media platform or any other third party. All third-party trademarks and other intellectual property rights are hereby acknowledged.
13. Cancellation and variation: Cinch reserves the right to vary, suspend or cancel the Promotion and/or these Rules if it considers it necessary or appropriate to do so, including if there is any actual or anticipated breach of applicable law or if variation, suspension or cancellation is necessary due to an event outside Cinch’s reasonable control. In the event of cancellation, the Prize may be awarded to a winner drawn from entries received prior to cancellation.
14. Disqualification: Without limiting the options available to Cinch, Cinch reserves the right at any time to disqualify entries or entrants that Cinch regards as being in breach of these Rules, any applicable laws, any terms and conditions referred to in these Rules and/or the spirit of the Promotion.
15. Interference with the Promotion: Any attempt to damage or undermine the content or legitimate operation of the Promotion is prohibited and may also be a violation of criminal and/or civil laws. Cinch reserves all its rights and remedies to deal with breaches or suspected breaches of this section including, without limitation, to exclude any entrant or winner believed to be associated with such activity.
16. Publicity: By entering the Promotion, each entrant agrees that, in the event of a win, Cinch shall be entitled (but not obliged) to announce the winner’s name (and/or social media handle if applicable) on Cinch’s websites and social media. The entrant may also be asked (without further reward) to take part in reasonable publicity connected with the Promotion, such as to have their name and/or image, together with a short statement about their win, featured on Cinch’s websites and/or social media.
17. Disclosure of winner’s details: By entering the Promotion, each entrant acknowledges that in the event of a win their surname and county of residence may be disclosed to persons enquiring, where permitted by law. Any entrant may object to their information being made available in this way, or may request that the amount of information made available be reduced, by contacting Cinch using the contact details at the end of these Rules. In these circumstances, the entrant acknowledges that Cinch may nevertheless disclose the relevant information, and the entrant’s entry, to the Advertising Standards Authority (and/or any other competent authority) if required to do so. By way of example, this may happen where Cinch is required to demonstrate that it has awarded any advertised prizes. To request disclosure of winner details, enquirers must submit a request to events@cinch.co.uk mailto:within one (1) month following the end of the Entry Period. Details will only be disclosed (if permitted by law) after the Prize has been awarded.
18. Personal data: Entrants acknowledge that any personal data processed in connection with the Promotion will be processed in accordance with Cinch’s Privacy Notice, which is available at https://www.cinch.co.uk/privacy.
19. Accessing these Rules: Any website on which these Rules are posted is only intended to be accessed from Great Britain and where permitted by law. Cinch makes no representation that materials relating to the Promotion are appropriate or available for use at other locations. Access to them from territories where their contents are illegal is strictly prohibited.
20. Severance and waiver: If any part of these Rules is or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the validity, legality and enforceability of the rest of these Rules will not be affected. Cinch’s failure to enforce any term of these Rules will not constitute a waiver of that provision.
21. Disputes: Subject to the “Law and Jurisdiction” section below, if there is a dispute about the Promotion or these Rules, Cinch’s decisions are final. If there is a conflict between these Rules and any other document referred to in these Rules, these Rules take precedence to the extent necessary to resolve the conflict.
22. Law and jurisdiction: The Promotion and these Rules are governed by English law, and any disputes arising in connection with them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that residents of Scotland may also bring proceedings in the Scottish courts.

CarFest Promotion
These are the terms and conditions (“Terms”) that apply to the £250 Cashback promotion (the “Promotion”). The Promotion applies to qualifying vehicle purchases on www.cinch.co.uk from 00:01 on 23 August 2023 through to 23:59 on 22 December 2023 (the “Promotion Period”).
1. The Promoter
The Promoter is Cinch Cars Limited (registered company number 11520330) (“cinch”), with its registered office at Form 2, 18 Bartley Wood Business Park, Bartley Way, Hook, Hampshire RG27 9XA, England and VAT number 360909784.
2. Eligibility for Cashback offer
To be eligible to participate in the Promotion you must:
a. be 18 years old or over and resident in Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales only); and
b. make a qualifying vehicle purchase on www.cinch.co.uk during the Promotion Period.
c. hold a valid personal UK bank account.
Each participant in this Promotion is only eligible to receive and use one code covering one purchase. The Promotion offer code cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers from cinch.
The offer code can only be used on a ‘qualifying vehicle purchase’ which is a vehicle purchased directly from cinch through www.cinch.co.uk or cinch’s mobile application during the Promotion Period.
3. Transferring the Cashback offer
You may give your offer code to a family member or friend. The user of the offer code must also be 18 years old or over, be a resident in Great Britain, make a qualifying vehicle purchase on www.cinch.co.uk or cinch’s mobile application during the Promotion Period.
4. How to claim the Cashback offer
The offer code must be entered by the Promotion participant on the checkout page on www.cinch.co.uk or cinch’s mobile application (as applicable) at the time of a qualifying vehicle purchase. The code will be validated by cinch on the checkout page prior to purchase transaction completion.
The Cashback payment will only be processed after the applicable 14-day “money back guarantee” return period in connection with the qualifying vehicle purchase has expired. Also the Cashback will not be issued if a purchase is cancelled, or the vehicle is returned to cinch for any reason before claim is verified and the Cashback is issued to you.
Steps to receive the Cashback:
a. visit www.cinch.co.uk or cinch’s mobile application and enter the offer code on the checkout page when making a qualifying vehicle purchase from cinch during the Promotion Period;
b. receive confirmation on the checkout page that the offer code is valid prior to purchase transaction completion;
c. in order for the Cashback to be issued you must:
a. hold a valid UK bank;
b. follow the instructions issued by the Promoter by email following completion of your qualifying vehicle purchase; and
c. not have cancelled your purchase or returned the vehicle to the Promoter for any reason prior to payment of the Cashback.
There are two methods that cinch may use for payment of the Cashback to you based on how you paid for your car:
1: If you paid for your car or finance deposit by debit or credit card:
- cinch will attempt to pay the Cashback to the same card(s) originally used to pay for the car or deposit.
- cinch will process and issue the Cashback within 28 working days from the date your 14 day money back guarantee period expires.
- If, for any reason, cinch is unable to complete payment of the Cashback in this manner then cinch shall notify you and the steps and timings in method 2 below shall be followed.
2: If you paid for your car or finance deposit using pay by bank or a part-exchange car (and made no payment to cinch by debit or credit card), or if cinch is unable to pay the Cashback to the card(s) you originally used in the qualifying vehicle purchase (as set out in method 1 above):
- cinch will require you to provide cinch with details of your bank account in order for cinch to transfer the Cashback amount to you.
- If cinch requires these details from you then cinch will send you an email requesting details and providing contact details to which they need to be sent.
- You will be required to provide the required information to cinch via email or telephone using the contact details provided within 30 (thirty) days of the email being sent to you.
- cinch will process and issue the Cashback within 28 working days from the date on which you provide all required information to cinch.
The Cashback will only be issued if a Promotion participant follows all the above steps and once cinch have been able to validate that a Promotion participant has complied with the above. A claim must be made directly by the end user Participant and must not be submitted through agents, retailers, resellers, third parties or in bulk. Businesses are excluded from participating in this Promotion.
5. Limitation of liability
The Promoter shall not be liable to a Participant if a Participant does not have a valid UK bank account for whatever reason.
As far as is permitted by law, the Promoter and its agents or employees will not be responsible or liable to compensate you or accept any liability for any loss or damage occurring as a result of participating in the Promotion. This does not exclude any liability for fraud, death or personal injury or other liability that may not be excluded by law. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Any bank or card provider or network charges, tax or other liability, cost or expense connected with claiming or receiving the Cashback is exclusively the responsibility of the Promotion participant.
The Promoter takes no responsibility for redemption of offer codes that are delayed, incomplete or lost due to technical reasons, network or server issues, or otherwise.
It is the responsibility of the Promotion participant to provide their correct, up-to-date details (including but not limited to email address and bank account details) when claiming the Cashback. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for participants failing to supply accurate information which affects verification or delivery of the Cashback.
Whilst the Promoter will take all reasonable steps to ensure that its obligations in relation to running of the Promotion, processing and delivery of Cashback are met, the Promoter shall not be liable in any way for its inability to meet these timeframes resulting from its own business or its supply chain (including third party processors) being affected by Covid-19 infections or related restrictions, or for any other reason outside the Promoter’s reasonable control.
Should Covid-19 infections or related restrictions or any other reason outside the Promoter’s reasonable control affect the Promoter’s ability to meet any of its obligations, the Promoter reserves the right to extend the closing date and/or any other deadlines and/or make any other necessary modifications to the Promotion but will use reasonable endeavours to resume the Promotion and fulfil its obligations as soon as is reasonably possible after its and/or its third party processors resume business as usual.
6. Terms and Data Protection
These Terms do not affect the terms of purchase of the relevant vehicle set out at https://www.cinch.co.uk/terms-and-conditions.
Promotion participants should ensure they are familiar with all applicable terms and restrictions, including any applicable expiry dates.
Your personal data and that of all participants will be processed in accordance with cinch’s Privacy Notice which can be found here: https://www.cinch.co.uk/privacy.
7. General
The Cashback offer is non-transferable except as set out in these Terms and non-exchangeable for any other benefit. The Cashback must be claimed and used in accordance with these Terms.
The Promoter’s decision in relation to allocating and issuing the Cashback is final and binding. Using the offer code implies acceptance of these Terms.
The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to eliminate or disqualify any claims or participants that it regards as being in breach of these Terms. Those who try and circumvent the claim process and/or instructions will be disqualified and will not be allocated or issued the Cashback.
The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, withdraw, terminate or temporarily suspend this Promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or technical reason outside its reasonable control, with no liability to any participants or third parties but will use all reasonable endeavours to replace or resume this Promotion where possible.
If a court finds part of these Terms is illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable, the remaining parts of the Terms will continue in full force and effect.
The application and interpretation of these Terms shall be governed by the law of England and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any dispute concerning them. If the participant lives in Scotland, the Promoter or the participant may issue any legal proceedings in connection with any dispute or claim arising in relation to these Terms in the courts of Scotland.

Spring Sale Promotion
The cinch Spring Sale (“Sale”) applies to selected fully electric cars (EVs) purchased on www.cinch.co.uk from 10:00 on 9th March 2023 through to 16:00 on 20th March 2023 (inclusive) ("Qualifying Vehicles").
If a car is a Qualifying Vehicle, this will be indicated in the listing for that Qualifying Vehicle by the inclusion of a discount flag. The listing will show the price of the Qualifying Vehicle before the Sale (crossed through) and the price of the Qualifying Vehicle with the Sale discount applied. If a car does not feature a discount flag, then it is excluded from the Sale.
