cinch Customer Reviews Statement

We’re removing the faff from changing and managing vehicles, and we also want to make our legal documents a cinch for anyone to understand. If you have any doubts or suggestions regarding any of them, please contact us and we’ll do our best to help.

Cinch Cars Limited (cinch) is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 11520330). Our registered office is at Form 2, 18 Bartley Wood Business Park, Bartley Way, Hook, Hampshire RG27 9XA. Our registered VAT number is 360909784.

2. How to review cinch

You are welcome to share your experiences of cinch with others by submitting a review on Trustpilot. For tips on how to do this and the rules on who can submit reviews, see Trustpilot’s Guidelines for Reviewers available here.

3. We welcome customer reviews

Our customers who have purchased a car from cinch are welcome to submit a review on Trustpilot. It is your choice whether to leave a review – there is no obligation for you to do so. We do not offer any incentives for positive reviews.

4. If you just have a question or need assistance

4.1 We would like you to share your experiences of cinch with others by submitting a review so we can learn and improve our service. However, if you just have a question for us or need help you can find our contact details here.

4.2 If you have a complaint about the car, or the service provided by cinch that you want to discuss with us, please write to us at complaints@cinch.co.uk or submit your complaint via our online webform. You can read a copy of our complaints handling process here.

5. Where to find our reviews

We provide links on our website and mobile app to reviews of cinch on Trustpilot (which can be found here) and we also publish a selection of the most recent reviews, and our aggregate review score, on cinch. For information on how Trustpilot checks and verifies these reviews see Trustpilot’s “Action we take” page (available here).

6. Rules for reviewers

6.1 cinch is committed to operating in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. We want to ensure all customer review information published about cinch is genuine and not misleading.

6.2 When reviewing cinch please follow Trustpilot’s Guidelines for Reviewers (available here). Please remember that your review must:

6.2.1 reflect your genuine experience (we hope it has been a positive faff free one but if not then you are free to say so – we are continuously working on improving our operations and processes to deliver the faff free service you deserve and take all feedback onboard);

6.2.2 not relate to a product or service you are connected with (for example, because you (or someone in your family) has a financial interest in, or works for, cinch); and

6.2.3 not manipulate ratings (for example, you cannot submit multiple reviews for the same transaction with cinch).

6.3 If we consider your review does not meet Trustpilot’s guidelines we will ask Trustpilot to remove it.

7. Please report suspicious reviews

If you think that any review submitted to Trustpilot is fake, or otherwise does not comply with their Guidelines for Reviews, you can report this to Trustpilot using the steps outlined here. We are grateful for your efforts in helping us combat fake or misleading reviews.

8. Controls on fake reviews

8.1 For information on how Trustpilot sanctions people who submit fake reviews, please see Trustpilot’s “Action we take” page available here.

8.2 If a review about cinch is removed from Trustpilot, or otherwise does not comply with their Guidelines for Reviews, we will also remove it from the cinch website and it will not form part of our aggregate Trustpilot review score.
