Voluntary Termination
What is voluntary termination?
Voluntary termination is a statutory right under the Consumer Credit Act 1974, allowing those with car finance agreements to return their car once 50% of the total amount payable has been paid.
If you haven't yet reached the 50% mark, you can speak with your lender about paying the excess.
Your car must be in good condition under BVRLA fair wear and tear standards. You'll be charged for damages, plus excess mileage fees on PCP cars.
