What does the DVSA do?

The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) is the government agency that is responsible for all driving tests, and the training and regulation of driving instructors. It is also responsible for approving MOT testers, tests to make sure lorries and buses are safe to drive, makes roadside checks on drivers and vehicles, and monitors any recalls of faulty cars.
