A new partnership is announced today between Northamptonshire County Cricket Club and cinch, the UK’s leading online car retailer. The innovative e-commerce brand becomes the new Lead Principal Partner to the club, on a multi-year deal. cinch joins Northamptonshire CCC on an equally exciting trajectory, with the lead up to the 2022 season having been one of the most commercially successful in the Club’s history.

The distinctive cinch brand purple will be prominent around Wantage Road, with the newly named cinch stand and feature signage along the eastern side of the ground. The partnership also sees branding on all three match shirts, including the primary front of shirt placement for the Vitality Blast and LV Insurance County Championship.  And, to support Northamptonshire’s next generation of cricketers, cinch are set to provide a minibus for pathway and academy squads to travel the country for training, fixtures and events.

cinch already has a huge presence across Northamptonshire with the cinch stadium at Franklin’s Gardens, home of the Northampton Saints, and with Northampton School for Boys, funding their All Weather Pitch to support up and coming talent within the county.

Aaron Cort, Partnership Manager, cinch, said “We’re delighted to grow our sports porfolio in Northamptonshire with the addition of NCCC and are looking forward to supporting the club across all levels of cricket, engaging with fans and the local community.”

Daniel Vernon, Commercial Manager, NCCC, said “cinch will really help drive the club forward - the ongoing development of our player pathway from the grassroots up is a core focus for us and cinch have been really supportive in ensuring the relationship brings advantages for all our players, not just the first team.

cinch is the latest in a string of new and expanded partnerships for Northamptonshire with more local and national businesses partnered with the club than ever before.

“It’s been an incredibly successful winter for the club and it’s really pleasing to have so many exciting partnerships, both new and some that have supported us for nearly 15 years. Looking back to a point where we were weeks from closing our doors and comparing that to where the club is today is an incredible change.”
