What types of used Audi A7 cars are there?

There aren’t many cars like the Audi A7 for sale because it blends aspects of sporty coupé models with luxury limousines to give it stacks of appeal and a whole lot of presence on the road. 

This stylish coupé comes with a pair of rear doors and two or three rear seats, depending on configuration, so it’s easy to carry the family or your friends. Because it has a much longer wheelbase than typical coupés like the Audi A5, there’ll be no complaints about legroom, either.

What features does the Audi A7 have?

Because the Audi A7 is such a big and expensive car, every version comes with plenty of standard equipment, including all-round parking sensors to make light work of navigating tight spaces. 

A used Audi A7 will have a 535-litre boot, which is five litres more than you’d get in a more conventional-looking Audi A6 saloon. 

All versions of the used Audi A7 get high-spec versions of the brand’s infotainment system, but it’s the newer 2018-onward models that get a second touchscreen placed below the primary one for controlling things like temperature and other vehicle functions. 

Newer models also get matrix LED headlights as standard, which apply the full beams but automatically block out certain sections to prevent blinding oncoming traffic while maintaining maximum visibility for you as the driver.

Audi has an excellent reputation for reliability and there haven’t been any reports of catastrophic failures with the Audi A7.

Because of the car’s aerodynamic styling, a used Audi A7 will actually be more efficient than you might expect for a car of this size. Diesel models can easily exceed 40mpg, while the plug-in hybrid model promises up to 200mpg with regular charging. 

However, it’s worth noting that a used Audi A7 can sit in fairly high insurance groups, so if you’re upgrading from a much smaller car, you may notice a difference.
