Warranty inclusions and exclusions
Your clutch is covered for any unexpected problems. Most modern clutches rarely go wrong, and should last for more than 10 years or 100,000 miles.
Gearboxes wear over time, and signs of this can be spotted during your routine service. While we don’t cover repairs related to age and usage, we do cover bigger unexpected problems.
Your engine is the heart of your car, so we’ve made sure to cover all the major parts. If one isn’t included, that usually means it’s a non-moving part, or something that won’t experience electrical or mechanical faults.
Driveline and differential
The driveline and differential systems are all about how your wheels turn. Unlike some other warranties, ours covers most of the things that can go wrong with this part of your car.
Suspension takes care of your car's ride and handling on the road. This system has a lot of moving parts. If they fail unexpectedly, we'll cover them.
Steering is much more than the wheel you use to turn the car, as you’ll see from the big list of parts we cover for repair. Check the general exclusions area for the few things that aren’t covered.
The cooling system stops your car from overheating by keeping your engine working at a safe temperature. We cover most parts that can break in this vital system.
Air conditioning helps to regulate the temperature inside your car. Common issues here include leaks and blockages, which you’re covered for with cinchCare.
Your braking system is made up of hundreds of parts, all responsible for the safe stopping of your car. We'll check for issues with this system as part of your routine service.
Most cars today have pretty reliable fuel systems. Problems here tend to come from the wrong fuel being put in the car.
Unlike many warranties, cinchCare covers repairs to all electrical faults. Things like bulbs, fuses and wires aren’t covered since these items are meant to perish, and are affordable to replace.
cinchCare covers any repair to your car’s built-in entertainment and information systems.
Not all car parts are covered for repair under warranty. As with most plans on the market, we exclude repairs to parts that have reached the end of their working life through age or mileage.
